Fences are often built to create boundaries, to determine ownership and to create a 

partition. One of such fences has been built in Kanha National Park of India, where a 

primitive tribe has been deprived of their basic forest rights. This documentary reveals the 

aftermath of eviction of the BaigaTribe from Kanha National Park.

Rishika Namdev is an alumnus of National Institute of Design, India. She has recently completed masters in film and video communication. She hails from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. She is interested in activist documentaries. She is currently teaching film and theatre in one of the international schools in India. Her documentary film “Bepurdah” has been screened in national and international film festivals.

Vineeth Menon is an Independent filmmaker and founder of an Independent production house in Delhi known as Tatva films. His past comprises of working with premier production houses in Mumbai like Equinox films and Aamir khan production where he was assisting renowned Director Mr. Ram Madhavani. In the current past he was as an employee of CNN- IBN as a promo producer. Overall a storyteller with an experience of print, television and films, along with some great independent works to his belt. Majorly uses his tool of storytelling for bringing awareness on Social Issues.

The Film explores the condition of human rights in the Naxal affected areas of Jharkhand, Chattisgarh and Orissa.  It questions the thoughtless rapid development model of the Government where lives of millions of people in these areas are severely affected. These areas are rich in mineral resources as well as tribal population where Central and the State Governments have already signed MoUs with various national and multinational companies.
Trailer of The Hunt 
Biju graduated from St Xavier’s College, Ranchi, and then completed the Film Appreciation Course at FTII. He has made over fifteen documentaries on issues of water, forest, land, displacement, migration, health, education, environment, art and culture, under the aegis of his company, Akhra. His film Kora Rajee won the Silver Conch at Mumbai International Film Festival and Loha Garam Hai won the National Film Award.
